Over a decade after opening The Cattle ranch Malibu, the luxurious health retreat favored by T+L readers and stars alike, will debut its very first East Coast station on April 18 in New york city’s Hudson Valley.
” We’re so fired up for our guests to start reserving their stays to experience The Ranch– in a brand-new setting! Preferably located less than an hour from New York City, Connecticut, and New Jersey, the property is the perfect trip for a wellness reset for anyone seeking to support their health together with corporate groups,”
Housed in a 1904 lakefront estate near Tuxedo Park and boasting 40,000 square feet, The Ranch Hudson Valley sits on 200 acres and immerses its guests in the region’s notoriously pastoral environment. Guests will partake in multi-hour everyday hikes, on-site activities, medical spa treatments, and nutritious meals.
The estate, totally reimagined by New York designer Steven Gambrel of SR Gambrel, includes 25 light-filled visitor spaces, perfectly mixing a scheme of relaxing nature-inspired colors, ageless furnishings, and the building’s initial features such as fireplaces, wood-paneled accents, and carved ceilings. Gambrel changed the mansion’s 2,000-square-foot ballroom into a fitness center for meditation and yoga classes, while another 5,000-square-foot space surrounding to the residential or commercial property homes an indoor swimming pool and exercise facilities (another outside pool is open seasonally).
In addition to a stylish dining room overlooking the lake, guests can unwind in the living-room and recreation room.
The Ranch Hudson Valley will use 3- and four-night programs (readily available from Monday through Thursday and Thursday through Monday, respectively) that include low-impact workouts, walkings, yoga, massages, and cold and hot plunges. Those who would like to take their stay a step even more can add IV therapy and energy recovery sessions.
” These programs are perfect for a much-needed lifestyle reset and indoctrination into the Ranch ethos,” Glasscock informed T+L. “The Ranch Hudson Valley will absolutely welcome the seasons, with active sledding and snowshoeing when ideal in the cold weather, and paddleboarding, wild swimming, and kayaking on the lake in summertime.”
The home works with regional suppliers and natural farms to prepare nutritious plant-based meals, and visitors are motivated to enjoy them together to enhance the communal experience (each retreat is limited to 25 guests at a time).
In 2022, The Ranch partnered with Palazzo Fiuggi, an idyllic estate and a medical retreat an hour south of Rome, on an intensive seven-day program.
