With ski season around the corner, Mountain Modern, the popular year-round motel in Jackson Hole situated a few blocks from downtown, has enhanced its accommodations alternatives and features. The property, which acquired Jackson Hole Lodge in 2015, will welcome guests with 59 extra rooms (bringing the total to 194), consisting of six townhouses, an outdoor pool and jacuzzi, and an extensive indoor-outdoor social area with après-ski offerings.
The property-wide makeover, led by interior decoration studio TruexCullins (behind the Cliff House resort in Maine and Hotel Jackson in Jackson Hole), incorporated eye-catching design that commemorates Grand Teton backcountry through large wall coverings of regional landscapes and pops of red buffalo plaid.
Those traveling with a bigger group or household can now reserve among the two-bedroom, residential-style homes that sleep as much as 8 individuals and feature a kitchen area, a living room anchored by a cozy fireplace, and a personal outside terrace. Likewise great: a fully restocked fridge will await travelers upon their arrival.
” Offering the ideal home base for year-round adventure with appealing new social areas, an innovative yet approachable style, and thoughtful amenities, we are positive that Mountain Modern will now even further cultivate a community constructed around outside adventure and those trying to find a location to connect and play like a regional,” Robert Nolan, co-founder of Mountain Modern, stated in a declaration.
One of the home’s most notable additions is a 19,000-square-foot social center, dubbed The Triple M. It will operate as a coworking area during the day and a relaxing lounge during the night, complete with board games, fire pits, and live music and home entertainment. The Triple M will also feature a market with casual fare and beverages, consisting of a custom-made coffee mix in collaboration with the local Snake River Roasting Company.
” From the family that’s enjoying their first ski getaway to the powder hound that frequents Jackson frequently and the residents that value community-driven experiences, Mountain Modern functions as a home for everybody,” Elena Schroth, Mountain Modern’s general supervisor, said in a statement. “We’re excited to broaden and raise our offerings so that Mountain Modern can continue to be a year-round adventure launch pad that encourages guests to check out all that Jackson Hole has to use.”
